An automated technic for the assessment of thyroid status, based upon the binding of I-131-triiodothyronine by serum.

چکیده
An automated technic is described for the direct assessmentof l131-triiodothyronine binding by serum. The adsorbantsusedin the manual technics are replaced by dialysis. The radioactivity in the dialysate is measured in a continuous-flow scintillation system. Results obtained from 71 patients of varying thyroid status compare favorably with those of a standard manual I’31-triiodothyronine resin uptake test.
